Itinerary
Night 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
We pick you up at hotel and transfer to Railway Station at 21:00PM. The train departs at 22:00M (SP3). Overnight on train with wooden cabin of 4 people sharing (2 people in 1 cabin upon request at surcharge)
Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Muong Hoa Valley ( B,L)
Our guide will pick you up at Lao Cai Station at 6:30AM and transfer to Sapa with the distance of 38kms, approximately 1 hours. Breakfast in local restaurant. early check in hotel upon availability. The balance of the morning is at leisure.
In the afternoon, driving from Sapa town down to Lao Chai village. You can meet many ethnic groups (H’mong, Dao) as well as enjoy manificient view of Muong Hoa, terraced rice field on the way. We reach to Lao Chai – a village of H’mong ethnic, then walk further to Tavan village to meet Day ethnic.
In the late afternoon, we walk to the meeting point where our car is waiting for pick you up to Sapa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Cao Son Market – Chay River – Night train to Lao Cai (B,L)
After breakfast in hotel, let transfer to Cao Son Market at 6:30AM. You will arrive Cao Son Market after 3 hours by car, this is an ideal time to explore market. This market is a place of H’mong, Ha Nhi, Nung, Tay, Dao ethnic exchange local products as well as chatting, drinking together. Have lunch in local restaurant.
After lunch we transfer to Coc Ly for boat trip along Chay River (1,5 hours) to Trung Do village, where is the home of Tay minority.
15h00 Transfer back to Lao Cai for the Limousine Bus back to Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi around 21h00. End of the trip
